Import WPC Site content to NW 7.3 Portal

Hi Folks,

We have accumulated quite a bit of WPC content(linked lists, banners, articles etc) in our Portal 7.01. We are trying to find out a way to import this content into our Portal 7.3. When I try the KM Content > Package Upload I do not see anything in the KM> Pending Imports section. Am I missing something?

Is it possible to transport KM content from 7.01 portal to 7.3 portal ?

Hi Winston,

I would recommend you publishing this topic in the Enterprise Portal Migration forum.

As for the the question, I recommend to look at the following SAP Notes:

Hi Aviad, Thanks for your response. The information you provided was helpful however, I was looking for some answers on how to transport/migrate KM/WPC content from 7.01 portal to the new 7.3 portal. It looks like this information is more related to upgrade methodology and tools. We are not getting into upgrade instead we have our new 7.3 portal set up but want to import all our content from our old 7.01 portal.

I'll post the same question in the other forum.
