Global ecatalog issues with e-class and UNSPSPC codes

Our company was recently acquired by a Germany company which is using e-class and NOT UNSPSPC. When we want to have a new catalog setup we have to have the supplier do manual development to adhere to our e-class system to match to our commodity codes. We would like to know how other global companies deal with multiple standards like e-class and UNSPSPC codes?

Hi Sabina,

You load the multiple schemas into the SRM and the relevent schema is then selected on catalog return, that is, you pass the schema type from the catlaog in parameter NEW_ITEM-EXT_SCHEMA_TYPE, check the OCI 4.0 documentation for more details if required.
