Hi,
I am trying to get my head around the match level and match type on the match records tab.
Now I understand most of everything else but this is confusing me a little. Could someone please point m in the right direction to a good blog or give a good explanation please?
I am currently reading through the import manager reference guide, already.
Thanks
SA
Thank you for your answer. However it is the matching type that is really confusing me. I get the match level but the type us a mystery at the moment.
Could you maybe explain this?

Hi SA,
The reference guide says "The only match type possible with a single matching field or field combination is Exact, since either a Partial or Conflict match requires an Equal match combined with at least one other value match (and without even a single Equal match, then the destination record simply doesnu2019t match the source record)."
Also please refer to table 69 which explains matching type for 2 scenarios Single matching destination and multiple matching destination. Here you would find when a match type is Partial/Exact/Conflict for single and multiple destination items.
Thanks,
Ravi
