How to make default repository

We have a requirement of making a new created repository i.e ZDMS_PHOTO as a default repository while using t-code cv01n.

While uploading original system is showing a pop-up and list of repositories,from this we have to select the storage category.

Now we want to avoid this and want that the document uploaded thru cv01n should go by defualt to this repository and it should not show the pop-up list.

You can store the originals by default in Storage Category in OACT Transaction and not in content repository (OAC0). These storage category appears in the pop when you check in docs.

Assign all storage categories to content repositories ZDMS_PHOTO . this will store all docs in ZDMS_PHOTO.

To save docs by default in storage category please follow the steps.

1. Go to Define profile in General data.

2. create a profile.

3. Assign the role or users to this profiles.

4. The assign the profile to Storgae category and applications(DC30) for which the deafult storage category should be maintained.
