Storage Charges / Cbm / Day

Dear All,

Please help

I want condition type to calculate Storage Charges

Calculation Basis u2013 Storage Charges = Number of Days in Storage X Storage Charges / Cbm / Day

Example: 1000 arrived at warehouse W1 under plant 1XXX on 5th of May 2011 for storage. 250 CBM left the warehouse on 7th of May 2011, 400 CBM on 20th of May 2011 and the remaining 350 CBM left the warehouse on 30th of May 2011.

Rate : 1.25 SAR / Cbm / Day

CBM issued- Date of issue - No. of Days in Storage- Net Storage Charges

250 - 5/7/2011 - 2 - 625

400 - 5/20/2011 - 15 - 7500

350 - 5/30/2011 - 25 - 10937.5

Hi Saragng,

I request you to try the following way:

Create a Service material type for Storage Charges with Units of measure as u201CCubic meters / Dayu201D.

Maintain condition type for the same (i.e. u201CPR00u201D for price of cbm/day)

While billing use the u201CQuantityu201D as = (No. days x volume or Cubic Meters).

Hope this may be of some help to you

Regards
