SAP GUI hangs in SPRO

Dear All,

I am using SAP GUI 720 with patch level 7. Whenever I run SPRO and open the subtrees by pressing errow key (->) , the SAP GUI hangs .This issue occurs on Windows vista / Windows 7.

SAP version : SAP R/3 4.7

Oracle 9.2.0.7.0

Update your SAP GUI to PL 8. See note 1607317 for the description of this error.

Hi,

Please check the following

1) Any error information recorded into Windows Event Viewer

2) Check the network connection between your desktop and SAP server . Whether there are any glitches or network drops

3) How much RAM does you have in your desktop ?

4) SM21 logs from R3 system.
