Major impacts to consider upgrading from cProject suite 3.1 to 4.5

Could someone give me outline of major impacts of upgrading from cProject suite 3.1 to 4.5.

Also the major difference and recommendation between choosing PPM5.0 Vs cFolder 4.5.

Gopesh,

there are quite a lot of new functions in release 4.5 when coming from 3.1. Improvements in project planning, GANTT, accounting etc. etc. The UI is WD ABAP instead of BSP etc. etc.

I think the best for you is to study the upgrade master guides which you can find on service.sap.com.

In general I would suggest to go for release 5.0, since this is the current release. I do not see any advantage of going to 4.5 now and (potentially) to 5.0 later
