EBP / BW 3.5

hi

With the integrated SRM/BW, is it possible to have the BW / SRM-EBP on the same client? Should I create Myself-source system to access the transaction data?

or Is it better to have two seperate systems (one for SRM-EBP and another for BW) or two seperate clients in the same instance?

Please let me know your suggestions.

Hi Venkat,

SAP does allow to install diff software components (eg EBP, SUS, CCM) in a single server and single client.

so BW / SRM-EBP on the same client should not be a problem.

The deciding factor is the load on the systems and transfer rates of data.

two seperate clients for SRM & BW in the same instance is better option if the data transfer is not heavy.
