ECC 6.0 Installation

Hello,

Has anyone performed ECC 6.0 installation on IBM DB2 UDB V8 + AIX, if so please provide the details.

Here are my understanding;

Install NW 2004S (ABAP+JAVA) Usage Type

Using ECC 6.0 Installation Export DVD.

Please let me know if otherwise.

HI,

I am not sure if you need help on whole thing or just export. Export cd's, you will them in different location. if this is what you need, you have to ERP section to get export cd's..

Hi Kiran,

How are you.

With Nw04 on wards you need to install ABAP+Java usage types. Plan for a unicode installation if you are starting a fresh. since Java is always unicode its better if you install ABAP stack also in unicode u can avoid the migration in future.

Plan all the java requirements in the begining itself. Other wise its not possible to add other usage types later. (like BI java or EP ) on the same system.
