Document Viewer problem in WebGUI (ArchiveLink)

We have the following problem when displaying archived documents via WebGUI in an SAP ECC 6.0 SAPKB70105 system using the HTML control: the Document Viewer is shown, but no document is loaded.

With the data provider cache deactivated, the documents are being loaded, but one cannot navigate back. However, we have to leave the Data Provider Cache active.

In Internet Explorer 8 the attachment list is shown as empty even if there are archived attachments for this record.

On an SAP ECC 6.0 SAPKB70107 system all documents can be shown in the Document Viewer with HTML Control and Data Provider Cache without problems.

The documents are being loaded from an external HTTP archive (OpenText / IXOS).

Do you have any ideas what the problem may be?

Thank you for the prompt reply, Deepak. The note is about the ECL viewer, we use just the Document Viewer.

Hi Nataliya,

We have recently upgraded our Support Packages of SAP_BASIS from SAPKB70014 to SAPKB70019.

We are facing same issue related to Archive Link in Thin client.

I am able to attach TIFF/PDF documents using Store Business Documents successfully but when I try to view the document by double clicking on Attachment List.

The Viewer is opened but no document is visible/loaded.

Can you suggest me what did you do to solve this issue?
