Hi,
I have recently upgraded Oracle to 11g, I extended the ORACLE_HOME directory before.
I have a nagios monitoring on this system.
After upgrading, an error occured by checking the Disks:
DISK CRITICAL - /oracle/SID is not accessible: The file access permissions do not allow the specified action
The disks check is doing anhand the following command :
command[check_disks]=/opt/nagios/libexec/check_disk -l -w 10% -c 5% -W 10% -K 5% -m -A -e -i "/proc"
The user nagios have no more permissions to check /oracle/SID. Other disks check are OK.
How can I give permission to the user nagios on this specific disk?
OS = AIX 6100-06-05-1115
Thanks in advance
regards

Hi,
This is not SAP related issue, but as far as I understand that the nagios is trying to access "/oracle/SID" logical volume by an OS user and it is not member of dba oracle user group under "/etc/group"
