I want to install J2EE engine for using ADS (Adobe document service). ADS need J2EE engine. J2EE engine need own instance. Can I install J2EE on working ABAP instance? I want two engine use same oracle instance.
Thanks.
I suggest, either install new AS Java or reinstall as Dual-Stack (ABAP+JAVA) with SCS.

Vincent

Hi,
If your requirement is only ADS configuration to view PDF documents, then you can configure ADS using JAVA stack of Solution Manager( Assuming you have solution Manager installed).
Then there is no need for a separate J2ee installation.

Hi,
I hope you would be having solution manager instance in your landscape. You can use As Java instance of solman for ADS instead of installing new system.
Thanks
