Annual maintenance ?

Hello Masters,

Customer is asking for a planning of maintenances window for next year for the production system.

How can I find out all the maintenance window I do need for everything ?

Example ( kernel upgrade, SP Stack upgrade, Oracle Upgrade and so on, all other upgrades ).

What are the usual upgrades that are done on SAP few times a year or once a year ?

I need just the SAP part, not the AIX too.

My system is: ECC 6.0 - EHP3 SP4 - NETWEAVER 7.0 - STACK 18

Planning maintenance is very much dependent on customer, type of business, type of evolving demands, current maturity of landscapes and many other things. This is not something which should be decided based on technical possibilities. There could also be cost associated with this activity in terms of business disruption, consultant cost etc. I would therefore suggest meeting the business and IT team and decide upon these factors.
