SAP SRM PPS

Hi All,

SRM PPS Doesnot support service procurement with hierarchy.

If we want services procurement as well in SRM PPS , by any development can we acheive this?

I really dont understand why PPS is not supporting services. As most of the public sector company has service procurement and still SRM PPS is not supporting.

Does any body who implemented PPS , let me know how they take care of Service procurement ?

Hi

Here is the reason

Service procurement works only in classic mode and PPS works only in extended classic mode. Hence you cant use service procurement scenario in SRM PPS system

I am also facing similar issue while implementation of PPS for service procurement.

Have you implemented PPS for service procurement? Could you please update?

PPS with service procurement is possible ,

The following additional information should be considered while using Strategic sourcing with RFx scenario in PPS.

1. Phased deliveries in RFx response are not carried forward to purchase order. You need to manually add schedule lines in the PO.

2. Bid and RFx Response Submission Outside Firewall

The following functions supported in Public Sourcing & Tendering scenario will not be supported when you use the new sourcing deployment variant - Bid and RFx Response Submission Outside Firewall.

Chat functionality in RFx and RFx Response

Providing bidder's intent for participation

Tender fee and Earnest Money Deposit Payment details synchronization between Purchasing system (SRM Server) and Supplier System (SRM SUS).

The purchaser activities like Auction active, pause and extend can be done only from Live Auction(Java Applet) and not from the Auction screen (WebDynpro).

Weights will be supported only for questions but not for prices.

Special functionality provided in PPS in addition to core SRM RFx functionality (e.g. Pricing arrangements, Options etc).

Location based conditions

Adding items from catalog in RFx response

Bidder can access RFX Documents & Auctions in External Supplier System through a POWL Application via Netweaver Business Client (NWBC). Bidder will not be able to access the RFx and Auction documents via Portal using the SAP delivered bidder role for External System and with the existing portal content for this role. To configure External Supplier System via Enterprise Portal relevant iView, Page and workset has to be created and assigned to the portal role for bidder (Bidder role can be found under path SAP -> Specialist -> SAP SRM 7.0 -> EHP1-> Supplier Collaboration). To reach the SAP provided Enterprise Portal content follow the path: Portal Content -> Content provided by SAP -> Specialist -> SAP SRM 7.0 -> EhP1 and its subfolders.
