Is there some way to see what URL a message is being sent to within Message monitoring? In other words, where do I see the communication channel being executed.

Check in the RWB->message monitoring->Message Display tool and audit log.

Use the MDT to see the final SOAP message sent out of the communication channel. That should have details that you want,

Hi,
Check out in SXMB_MONI. Under Call Adapter please see it in the Trace Node. Am not sure you will see the URL but it has most of the info.
Note : Check if the Trace level is set to 3 in SXMB_ADM.
In case of SYNC communication check id Loggin is enabled.
