Tutorial needed for tables with groups to be toggled

Hi guys,

I have found this link (http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/wai-xtech/2008Feb/att-0037/ComplexTablesforBestPactices.doc) that shows exactly what I need (Tables with Groups to be Toggled). Do you know if there's an article that explains how to accomplish this?
