Date entered in VBAP - AEDAT, but unable to see changes in VA03

Hi, we have found a sales order in our system which has a date in field AEDAT within table VBAP. We have checked the sales order in VA03 and looked at the changes under Environement > Changes, and are unable to see any changes for this date. As far as we are aware, there are no user exits or batch runs which would cause this date to populate, and we have no user defined fields.

Can anyone advise which fields may cause this date entry which are not visible within the change log in the sales order?

All help very much appreciated

Wendy

Hi

The origin of problem is that data element AEDAT doen't have 'change document'. You can see it in SE11 for data element AEDAT, tab further characteristics, and the flag for change document is blank.

Many thanks for that, even if the tick was in place, sure this would only show the date had changed? What I am trying to find is what caused the date to be entered in that field.

Hopefully this makes sense.

Hi ,

Even in case where no changes are carried to a sales document, if someone enters into the transaction Va02 and saves it without any changes it will capture the current date as changed on date even though there are no changes done to the document.
