Saving SAP jobs and spool for reorg jobs

Hi,

we are in process of archiving now, Functional team request to keep the jobs and spool of that archiving background jobs from reorg .

I am not able to find any option to keep the jobs and spool from reorg jobs...

Please suggest...

As far as using the standard tools, you'll need to stop RSBTCDEL2 and RSPO1041 from running or extend the age of deletion

Hi,

I got the solution for this.

While scheduling the sap reorg jobs there is a filed called " username" normally it will be * , in my scenario i have given the background user name so that the reorg job removes the old jobs of that user only.

I am scheduling the jobs with my id which will not be part of reorg user.

Hi Subhash,

I think you can create a customize variants from the standard variants and define in the step of job and spool reorgs background jobs. The customized variant must be created in such a way that the archiving jobs/logs should be excluded from the reorg.

I never tried this. Please work with your ABAP team.
