MDS stopped after updating from sp02 to sp06

Hi ,

I have installed MDM 7.1 sp02 and updated it to sp06.

The updation was successful but in SAPMMC its showing mds.exe with status stopped and mdis is fine and running.

Can anyone please help in solving this problem ?

have you checked Note 1482822 - MDM Server not starting after MDM 7.1 SP05 was installed

some microsoft stuff needs to be updated.

The issue is soved after updating the patch as mentioned in the note 1482822.

Hi Mounika,

Please refer to SAP Note 1359600.

This should solve the issue.If firewalls were configured to allow MDM's communication throughout the landscape, they actually might prevent (depending on their rules table) the communication after an upgrade to MDM suite starting at version 7.1.03 and higher.

Revising firewall rules should help solve this.
