Validation of Custom Fields - CNEX0007 PS customer specific fields WBS e

Hi All,

I am using CNEX0007 exit to develop custom fields for projects. I have 2 project types and 20 fields. Out of 20 fields 12 fields related to one project type and another 15 fields related to another project type. When I create project, based on project type, system has to validate and has to show only those fields. Is it possible to acheive it?

If required I can activate CNEX0006 also.

Hi,

I doubt whether it is possible to control the fields in Cust. Enhancement Tab based on Project Type, because CNEX0007 updates the values in Table PRPS.

May be you can use GuiXT or Transaction Variant (SHD0) to control this.

I am Not sure, if possible to bring these fields in OPUK then it is easy to control.

I think it is worth referring the notes 86050, 522581and 365268.

Can be done using BADI - no extension to OPUK but a seperate Z table with hide and display options based on project type
