Hi,

I´m adjusting the oracle parameters in Java Database, but I´ve the doubt about some parameters. The database is 10.2.0.5 with patch 10.

BTREE_BITMAP_PLANS FALSE (10.2.0.2)

FALSE (10.2.0.4, without fix 9770451,

Note 1461804)

UNIX SBP 10204x_date (date <= 201009)

UNIX 10.2.0.5 without SBP

WIN 10.2.0.4.nP (n <= 39)

10.2.0.5.nP (n <= 2)

My patch collection is 10, then Have i to put this parameter in TRUE,no?

Hi Ruben,

Please follow note# 1171650 (Oracle automated parameter check) and execute the script.

This should give you a report showing the discrepancies and recommendations.

Connect your java database to the DBACOCKPIT of a solution manager.

Run SE38 -> RSORADJV

Copy paste the script from the above note and execute.

You should be able to decide on the parameters in question.

Please let us know if this doesn't help.

Hi Pydi,

I´ve executed this report but i´m doubt about some value parameters.

And now I´ve the next paramater

INMEMORY_UNDO FALSE (10.2.0.2)

i´ve the 10.2.0.5 version. What do i´ve to do? Reset the paramater or delete them?

Hi Ruben,

As the parameter INMEMORY_UNDO is already set to FALSE, you don't have to do anything.

You don't have to reset / delete the parameter as there is no explicit recommendation from SAP.

We also do have Portals running on 10.2.0.5 and this parameter set to FALSE.
