Creation of inbound delivery

Hello Expert,

Do you think is possible to create an inbound delivery at good receipt with movement 101 directly from MIGO without defining the destination storage location managed with handling unit?

Hi Josy,

Not as far as I know. If it is HU managed, the reason an inbound delivery is generated is to enable the user to pack the materials onto a HU before goods receipt takes place. If a storage location is HU managed, you cannot have unpacked material in it nor can you pack in it so this is why the delivery must be generated. If the storage location is not HU managed, then this requirement doesn't exist so the material can be receipted directly into stock without the requirement for a delivery.

It is not possible to create inbound delivery without defining the HU managed s.location. What you can do is, create the inbound

delivery then you can change the storage location from Hu managed to non hu managed. Not sure what you want to do next with

inbound delivery?
