Hello,
When printing a smartforms blanks characters are not underlined if I use policy HELVE, but it works for A_SIMP.
For example: Text smartforms is printed like Text smartforms
Blanks char are not underlined.
With policy A_SIMP there is no problem, but with HELVE it doesn't works.
How can I solve this issue ?
Is it possible to customize policy ?
Thank you.
Hi,
Do you print via windows and Frontend? if so, set the registry setting "print_spaces" to 1 as decribed in SAP note #1149136. Then create a new spool and check the result.

Hi,
I believe, it is because A_SIMP is a npn-proportional font. For these fonts, the width of all characters is the same. For proportional fonts like HELVE, a 'w' character is wider than an 'i' for example. So i think this is the behaviour for all proportional fonts. Changing the registry setting is the only solution that I lnow.

Aidan
