Add new Characteristic value in the selection ID

Hi APO Gurus,

We have recently configure a new SNP/DP Planner in APO system. However, it's not appearing in the selection in the Planning Book for the planner.

I would like to know if we missed some configurations.

Dear Raymond,

when you have added it to the planning object structure, you will need to add it in the planning book as well. This has to be done in txn /SAPAPO/SDP8B.

Hi Rico,

We have already a characteristics of Planner in the Planning Book and in the POS. However we have added a new SNP Planner Code "BBT" in the configuration and this is not appearing in the seletion on the Planning Book.

Is this for DP or SNP Planning Books? If its DP then is the Planner code a basic characteristic or a navigational attribute ?

In that case, you need to maintain BI master data for the navigationall attribute and assign the Planner attribute to the relevant characteristic (I'm guessing this is the material characteristic) in RSDMD.

Creating the Planner in SPRO is not sufficient for DP Planning Books.
