Trip Request

Hi All,

I wanted to know if the chief of an organization can raise the trip request for all his employees?

I understand this can be achieved by assigning the the relevant Role. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Is there any other solution?

Its dependent on what role the user has and also authorization

You would have to customise the standard roles to achieve this via PFCG or else create custom role.

I intend to assing the travel manager role to all chief of the org units - SAP_FI_TV_TRAVEL_MANAGER.

Do you think that would be fine approach?

Sorry my links didnt work before! - but how about giving them the travel assistant AND travel approver role.. this allows them to create trip for employees and also approve?

If you want the chief to be able to approve the trips also, then they must have the SAP_FI_TV_WEB_APPROVER

role.

The important authorization objects are AUTHF with value W for create, change and copy and AUTHP with value * - for all personnel numbers

Travel manager role is more for maintenence of customizing etc

yes, they can by configuring their user role.
