Hi Jimmy,

which MaxDB version are you using?

Concerning MaxDB's log: SAP note FAQ: MaxDB log area: <a href="https://websmp104.sap-ag.de/~form/handler?_APP=01100107900000000342&_EVENT=DISPL_TXT&_NNUM=869267&_NLANG=EN>">869267</a> possibly contains all the information you need and more.

If not, please tell me which exact log mode you currently are and which one you want.

Regards,

Roland

Hi Roland,

The version of our maxDB is 7.5.00.32 build 032-123-111-699. I know how to change the log mode but I have to do it on a MS cluster and that I've never done.

maxDB resources and instance resources are running on different nodes. Can I bring de instance resources down and open de gui of the MaxDB and put the DB in admin mode?

Kind regards,

Jimmy

Hi again Jimmy,

can you tell me which log modes you're thinking about? Do you mean single or dual or maybe switching auto overwrite on/off or ...?

Roland
