DASD size for a ECC 6 and Solution Manager

Hi forum,

it's really nice an iSeries form into SDN, fantastic.

In next weeks I must install a new ECC 6.0 unicode as dev system for 3 users (to test new ECC Features) and Solution manager 4.0 unicode (only for ECC installation, for key) on a new iSeries box, it's V5R3M0 box, it's a 530 model with 12 GB ram.

I've just read "Installation Guide" on a pdf file for ECC and Solution manager ... but I don't be able find DASD exact amount of DASD usage.

How many GB I need to install a new ECC 6.0 unicode ?

How many GB I need to install a new Solution Manager 4.0 unicode ?

But this file is for ECC 5.0 ... for ECC 6.0 ? have you got information about DSD increase from ECC 5.0 to 6.0 ?

Hi Alessandro,

I recently installed ECC6 unicode and had a DB size of 90-100GB.

The SolMan I would guess on 50GB.
