Cold Storage Rental

Hi Friends,

We have scenario wherein we give our cold stores to customers. Two normal scenario are as follows:

1. Rental charge to customer basis the space used i.e. per sq ft

2. Rental charge basis the material movement day to day basis.

Billing includes electricity and water usage charges also.

We are using ECC6. I want to know how to map this scenario. Would be highly grateful if information provided with configuration guidelines.

Further to what Ravi kumar has said,

I would like to add that for your second scenario rent based on material movement you can maintain scales as per the slabs in condition records.

maintain additional UOM in the material master for this purpose.

Include Service Tax, Education cess and H. Edu cess conditions in the pricing procedure in case client is in India.

Hi,

You can create a service material as "COLD STORAGE" and maintaine UOM as u want like Sq.Ft.

and create a pricing procedure

PR00-Standard price as Sq.Ft

and some manual condition ZADT(additional charges- electricity and water usage charges ) and insert these 2 condition types in Pricing procedure.

also you can configure periodic billing-basically monthly or yearly you will be charging to the customers in this kind of storage requirement.

Create order and subsequent billing.here no delivery.
