Use of ECC trans CFC9 regarding APO resources

I am using APO V5.1 connected to an ECC 5 system.

In ECC transaction CFC9 one can maintain the +/- days for availability/validity of resources in APO.

But when I CIF work centres across, the resulting APO resources have */- days conatining a default value of -30 and + 180 (from table /SAPAPO/RESLCT I believe).

So, how are the CFC9 settings supposed to be used?

Thanks for any advice on this...

Hi,

In CFC9 you can define these parameters for Single resource and multi resource .

Also you can define these parameters individually for each resource .

Nandha,

Thanks for your reply.

So, if we have days +/- set in CFC9, and we CIF across a resource, would you expect the resource master data in APO to have the +/- days as set in CFC9?

Thanks...

Hi,

The setting in CFC9 only defines how many time slots are transfered to APO, and NOT what the exact "Day -" and "Day +" will be for the resource in APO.

The length of the time stream of the resource has to be defined in the resource itself, otherwise the system uses a default value defined in database table /SAPAPO/RESLCT.
