DMS URL Link and using EasyDMS Functions for this

Hi,

I know that it is possible to create a URL in EasyDMS that can then be sent to external parties, however, as soon as you edit the document in DMS, which is stored in KPRO, the URL becomes invalid.

Why does this happen?

How can this be circumvented?

Would it be possible to create a URL for the document in SAP DMS and then publish that without using EasyDMS?

I am thinking perhaps a classification field, that is populated with the document URL when it is checked into KPRO?

Any suggestions?

Can you re-test the scenario without checking in the URL in kPro? Checking in would make little sense since the URL is already hosted on some web server.

You can generate the link directly in SAP DMS without EasyDMS. Refer to the link below for more details:
