Condition Exclusion

Dear All,

I need a small clarification Condition exclusion.

In Condition exclusion we have so many options (A - Best condition between condition types, etc). But here there is an option D - Exclusion.

I don't have a clear opinion about this D (Exclusion).

As per my assumption, if we have two exclusion groups, say EX1 and EX2. If the exclusion like below.

D Exclusion EX1 EX2

I thought, if the Exclusion group EX1 exist in the Sales order, it will exclude EX2. I mean, if EX1 is there, there wont be condition types belongs to EX2.

But I have a small confusion because of the Exclusion groups used in our company.

We have two exclusion groups. Exclusion group1 consist of Price condition types and Exclusion group 2 consist of Discount condition types. Now these groups exclude each other.

It is possible to set the exclusion between Price and Discount condition types?

Please explain.

Regards,

Mullairaja

Dear MullaiRaja ,

Exclusion group is used to pick up the best value between two or more condition (type) values.

Check the following link.

This is the explanation given in the standard SAP for 'D' - "Exclusive"

If any of the condition types of the first group exists on the item, all of the condition types of the second exclusion group are excluded

You can go through the following note which will elaborate in detail
