Creating Current Year Filter

Hello all,

I am new to creating universe filters and have what I feel is a basic question but unfortunately I can't solve I was wondering if anyone could help me out!

I am trying to create a filter within the universe designer that pulls in only current i.e. based off of a zcalday from BW.

My two failed attempts at the moment...

1) [ZCALDAY__ZRELCALYR].[LEVEL01] InList("#")

2) <FILTER KEY="@Select(Billing Time\L01 Rel Cal Year)"><CONDITION OPERATORCONDITION="Equal"><CONSTANT CAPTION="Current date"></CONSTANT></CONDITION></FILTER>

I was informed the BW modeler that # means current year.

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated!

any insight on DB2 and creating a universe object would be great help! I have been reading this as well...
