Solution Manager 7.1 Upgrade: Problems during LMDB Setup

Former Member

Hi,

we upgraded our Solution Manager 7.0 EHP1 development system to 7.1 SPS3 (including all new sap notes).

During solman_setup we get the following error at -> System Preparation -> 6 Prepare Landscape -> 6.4 Set up LMDB:

No such namespace: "active"

Due to this error it is not possible to add a synchronization connection between our local SLD and LMDB, because there's no target namespace!

Does anyone know how to add the namespace "active" ??

Make sure that your SLD meet the requirements:

SAP NetWeaver Release

The following table gives an overview of the SAP NetWeaver versions for an LMDB-compatible SLD, and whether, and since when (which support package stack), an SLD satisfies the minimum requirements for LMDB:

SAP NetWeaver Release (SLD)

Supported Support Package Stack Level

SAP NetWeaver 6.40

not supported

SAP NetWeaver 7.0

not supported

EHP1 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0

not supported

EHP2 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0

SP6, patch 5

SAP NetWeaver 7.1

SP9

EHP1 for SAP NetWeaver 7.1

all SPs

SAP NetWeaver 7.2

all SPs

SAP NetWeaver 7.3

all SPs

If you cannot give your central SLD a required status, you can use another SLD which does satisfy the minimum requirements (e.g. the SAP Solution Manager SLD), and fill it with the data from your central SLD, using SLD bridge functionality.

Model and CR Content

The CIM model and SAP CR content requirements are:

 CIM model 1.6.16 or higher

 Newest SAP CR CONTENT, at least version 7.0

For more information about updating CR content, see SAP Note 669669.

Thanks for your quick answer!

We already patched our SLD to CIM model 1.6.16 and CR-Content SAP_CR 7.4 (produced 09/05/2011).

Creating the LMDB namespace by configuring the object server during LMDB Setup doesn't work either...

Problem solved!

SAP just released a new program correction: Note 1643760 - No target namespace when settung up LMDB.

Just FYI: Along with the error message: No such namespace: "active" you may also see "Message no. LMDB_CIMOM007"

Hi,

I have upgraded in SolMan 7.1 SP4 and apply note 1643760.

Yet, in solman_setup, System Preparation, step 6.4 in configure LMDB, I still have "no such namespace active".

Does anyone has an idea ?

thansk a lot.
