XDMCP may not be activated on the server.

Hi markus,

My System is Up & Running fine. I rebooted the server still issue is not resolved. Since I could connect to server through puttey I dont think this is a firewall issue,

Please execute

ps -ef | grep dw

If you see workprocess, check the traces dev_w0 and dev_ms in the instance work directory.

Hi Murali,

The logs shared by you says the following

***LOG Q0I=> NiPConnect2: 172.28.30.45:3300: connect (111: Connection refused) http://nixxi.cpp 3142

Also the last data you shared is the list of services running on that server.

I am asking you to check the configuration in firewall whether communication via port 3300 is allowed or denied between SAP server IP and end user desktop IP series.

Hope this helps.

Deepak Kori

Hi Deepak,

Could you please suggest how to check that? Is that some thing Network team will do?

Thsnks,

Hello,

netstat -nap Or better to check with network team.

Thanks

2 possibilities:

1. the port(3300) was blocked on the network then ask the network guy

2. the port was blocked by the client's firewall then try turn down the firewall to see if this was the problem.
