Memory Settings for SAP Web AS 6.4

I have a question regarding Minimum and Maximum Heap Sizes.We need to change the Java Max Heap Size to be 1024 MB instead of 256 MB . How do we do this ?

Hi,

You need the Config Tool, which you can start using the configtool script file in <drive>:\usr\sap\<SID>\JC00\j2ee\configtool. Select the instance and in the Servers General tab maintain the Max Heap Size parameter. Or you can expand the instance node and maintain the heap size value for each server process separately. The settings take effect after the instance is restarted.
