Metrics values

Hi,

I am not able to see the metrics values for portfolio item in deliverable subview. Any clue why the values are not getting populated to metrics. Do I need to run any program for this or I am missing any config.

Hi Pramod,

For metrics management in SAP PPM, below mentioned configuration is required

1) Creation of the metrics (under Common Functions -> Metrics Management)

2) Creation of key figures and assignment of key figures to metrics (under Process and Service Settings -> Key figure monitor)

3) Assignment of metric groups to item or initiative type (under Portfolio independent settings)

Once all configurations are done, you can see the metrics values.

If you want metrics in dashboard, you have to add metrics to dasboard fields.

Hi Amit,

Thanks for reply, I believe I have already completed the mentioned config steps properly but not sure because I am still getting following errors;

Cannot convert key figure value (ACTUAL_COST) to metrics unit or currency

No key figures exist for the object for key figure definition ACTUAL_COST

Error while creating an administrator key figure (ADM_VAR)

I getting metics blank with above errors

Hi Melvi,

             I am not sure if you still have the problem. If so here is the solution.

-> In the metrics customizing please check what currency value you have given for Actual cost ( EUR/USD/ or any other)

-> In the customzing for Key figures definition please ensure you have entered the same currency key

This will resolve the problem. I also experienced the same error, but after making the changes as mentioned above, the error went away.
