Portal upgrade from 7.01 to 7.02, EHPi or JSPM?

Hi Gurus,

I am upgrading my Portal (Java only) system from 7.01 SPS6 to 7.02 SPS8, I haven't found clear instruction in EHP upgrade guide/Stack guide or in SAP notes for what to use for this upgrade EHPi or JSPM.

As per my understanding we can use JSMP for JAVA only system, in my case JSMP detect SP files in EPS inbox and shows correct information. I would like to know what is recommeded way for this upgrade and your experice for similar upgrade.

For 7.02 upgrade, you can use JSPM.

Hi,

I have used JSPM, as suggested in note 1472520, no issues in upgraing system to 7.02 SPS 08.

Hello,

I think the 'Upgrade Assistant' (SAPup) should be used for this upgrade (just like in ABAP upgrade)

Nothing mentioned in the Upgrade Guide ?
