Is Solman a tool offered by SAP for BAM? If not which are the tools offered by SAP for BAM?

Solution Manager offeres several functions.

BAM is Business Activity Monitoring

SAP Solution Manager has many monitoring tools, such a Business Process Monitoring, System Monitoring, Solution Monitoring, so this kind of functionality should be present in Solution Manager. Exactly what Business Activities do you need to Monitor?

As per my knowledge Solman should be one, but does it have any limitations to be used for BAM?

Hi,

SolMan is not really positioned as BAM tool in the Garnter sense. For this purpose SAP NetWeaver BPM with its capabilites should be used.

Nevertheless BPMon and Analytics can help many businesses to improve. See also my blogs
