Authorization for QE51N and QA32

Hello,

In my current client, multiple types of material are being used by specific quality inspectors. So the user should have authorization to run QA32 and QE51N only for specific groups of materials. So can the user have authorization only for specific material?

Hi,

Below Authorisation object is used for the same.

Auth object:Q_MATERIAL

Field: QMATAUTH

How ever, It also restrict user from processing

Maintaining the material specification

Processing inspection lots

Processing inspection results (characteristic inspection results and defects data)

Processing completion of the inspection and usage decision

Maintaining the quality level

Maintaining the quality information records

When you enter a material authorization group in the material master record, the system checks (on a material basis) if the user has authorization for the objects named above.

If there is no authorization group entered, no authorization check is carried out.
