We are using sap portal + employee self service, my question is can we install 2 netweaver + ess in one machine. For example the first netweaver is connect with client 100 the next netweaver connect with client 200 backend. Please clarify. Thank you

If you have sufficient physical ram, you can have mutilple SAP instances installed on the same server.
Ensure you keep instance nos different.
Ensure proper swap is configured
Ensure all other pre-requisites for installation are met.

Hm, we always run the ess services on the portal system. Or are you talking about the corresponding HR (ERP) system?
We do in fact run the HR system (Abap stack) on the same server as the portal (java stack). So yes this is possible.

Yes, this is possible by using a different instance number for the second instance.
Make sure you have enough physical memory on the machine to run both instances.
