how to restrict create transport in outside charm

Hi Experts

We have implemented ChaRM in our SAP systems. However,still the developers are able to create transport requests directly from the development systems.

How can restrict the transport requests creation only possible through ChaRM?

Hi Venkat,

You can do this in 2 ways. One logon to solution manager. Goto SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN.

Goto your project -> System landscape -> Click on IMG projects -> Select the IMG project -> Display -> Click on Transport request tab -> CTS Project Switch -> There you can expand your developement systems and there you can find the switches where you can enable and disable the switch.

Requests cannot be created

Requests cannot be released

No Project Piece List

No Project Intersections

Or

You can directly logon to your Developement system , goto SPRO_ADMIN transaction where you can do the smilar thing.

Hi,

you have to remove the authorization to create transport requests directly in development system. So the developer will be able to create transport request only with ChaRM. See authorization object S_TRANSPRT in the authorization role for your developer on your development system.

Hi,

you have to use the project satus switches within your maintenance project in solar_project_admin.

Go to the project -> system landscape -> change requests -> clickt the last button.
