Hello All
We have PSS - and that work fine.
Now we will start using CUP, and I want CUP to create a new user in a system where they dont yet exist - if a Role for the System has been approved in a request.
My problem is that CUP send a mail with a password for the system to the end user, We dont want that.
Can we "kill" this mail and still use the PSS ?
thank you
Kristian
Hi,
We have the same issue, despite configuration selection a mail is sent to the user.
Any news about this?

Have you seen SAP Note 1253720?
I am not sure it is what you need.
Good luck.

We have seen that we cant remove the mail.
so now we get the next problem.
The password in the mail - is not working. Cup set the PW to the initial PW from the CUA. But sends a new one in the email.
SAP say that we must use a new SP 17.
But our next window to do this will be end of next year....

Also not working for me.
I still need the closing Email to the requestor.
But no Email to the end User, as we still have to do some manual tasks before the user get the PW.

Hi Kristian,
The feature is very good for new users, they get the user ID and first password ta the same time.
If you don't wnat this in your system, go to CUP>Configuration->Workflow-->Email Reminder-
Go to Tab Closing --> and uncheck all notification Configuration, set NO for send password in mail.
This works fine for preventing any password/mail being sent to the user!

Sabita
