How to Split and Inspection Lot Once Usage Decision made

Does anyone know if there is a way to Split and Inspection Lot into two different Lots once the Incoming Inspection UD has been completed. I have a incoming inspection lot that was accepted upon receipt as good material. We later find out that approximately 300 pieces are bad and want to split the lot into two different lots. All the material was transfer to unrestricted stock but I want to place the other 300 pieces on hold. I'm not sure what the best way is to handle this issue so I am open to any ideas that would be helpful.

After you move the stock to unrestricted its not possible to split that lot

But there can be workaway with this:

1.Apply sap note # 175842 & reverse the stock from UR to QI.Then post the lot to block stock( 300 bad pieces) & rest into unresticted again.

Or more simle way.

2.Move that stock to block stock from unrestricted stock in same storage location by MB1B-->344.
