Please I need to know and understand what is the purpose of maintain Resource in Transportation Lane ?

In PP/DS, the Resource assigned to the Means of Transport will be assigned to the transportation activity. It is necessary to maintain transportation resource as otherwise this may result in incorrect scheduling for the order in liveCache. Please, also check note 565972 FAQ: External procurement in PP/DS.

But Please note that what you explain i understand it correctly , but i confused when i run Deployment, all the schedule date and times changed to Start time 12:00:00 & End Time 20:00:00

In my Resource transportation capacity i mantain it as 07:00:00 to 15 :00:00 as available Capacity

Hi,

The resource field which is present in means of transport tab is for updating the transport resource.

Transport resource will be used by deployment optimizer.
