SAP PI Deletion of Cancelled XML Messages (asynch)

Hi,

We would like to delete xml asynchronous messages in production system as soon as possible.

The problem is that when the error messages are set to cancelled, the date of the messages is change to the date in which s being cancelled, so we have still to way for the persist duration.

There is any way of reduce the persist duration of cancelled messages or force the system to take the actual date of the message instead the cancellation date?

I would appreciate any help or any idea you could give on this.

Hi Raquel

Messages that have been cancelled manually are automatically archived by default following retention periods.

There is no parameter to change only this kind of messages retention period.

I completely agree with Giuseppe,

There're no settings for customize archiving report for different type of interface.

A possible way is to develop a custom report to do this... copying standard report, and selecting only your wished messages.

Hi,

There is a standard program RSXMB_DELETE_MESSAGES to delete messages. You can schedule the program in background to delete messages. Can you check if this will suffice your requirement?
