RFC Connection

Hi,

I have a remote SAP System and I connect through SAP GUI with SAP Router String.

I have local SAP System and would like to establish RFC connection between these two systems.

Both SAP System is in different network and behind individual SAP Router.

Is there any way to establish RFC Connection?

Thanks,

Graciela

thanks for your suggestions

I had applied this note 555162 - Asynchronous RFCs with a dialog using a SAP router.

My rfc is working from my system to customer´s system, but viceversa is not working

I have a doubt I have to add any rule in my firewall or firewall´s customer or just in my saprouttab

thanks for your reply

Hello,

You need ensure that routetab on both side is updated along with the firewall allowing the two way communication on both sides.

Hi,

I updated my routtab with these lines

  • ip public (remote system) 3299 ----> in source system

  • ip public (source system) 3299 ----> in target system

I dont know if I have to publish both system in the firewall

thanks for your reply

Sure, is possible.

In Destination Host, put saprouter string and hostname:

HOST = <saprouter_string><Hostname>

Certainly you can use the saprouter string on the target host are of the RFC, check the documentation.
