Is it possible to use AAE in Enterprise Service to File Scenario?

Hi, Gurus,

I distribute master data asynchronously from SAP ERP to other application within an A2A scenario using Enterprise Services.

In PI i get XML messages directly, then mapping, converting them into files and put them in a foler via ftp communication channel. I have tried to use AAE (Advanced Adapter Engine) in this scario to improve performance. but without Sender communication channel it does not work.

Does anyone have experiences to share?

Thanks and Regards

Rene

AAE in PI 7.1 supports all adapters except IDoc, HTTP and Proxy

in PI 7.11, it supports Proxy also.

So i am assuming yours is a Soap to File scenario. So it will work.

Can you post what is the exact issue that you face?

Thanks to the prompt reply from RK and Shabarish!

The sender in my scenario is SAP Retail system and it sends Enterprise Service to PI without any sender CC.

Please refer to the Link:

My PI is Version 7.10, without EHP 1. Therefore I canot test it.

Hi Rene,

If you want to use AAE (ICO object) for SAP ERP to File scenario then you should use SOAP adapter at the sender side in XI protocol mode. This SOAP adapter with XI protocol mode will act as ABAP XI adapter adn will get content from SAP ERP and forwards it File receiver adapter. In SDN there are several blog and links which talks abot SOAP adapter in XI Protocol mode to connect to SAP back-end through AAE.

Please let me know if you need any link for these if you didnt find it.

Thanks,

RK
