SAP GUI for HTML in ECC 4.0

Hello ,

We have a portal , SAP EP 6.0 that is connected to ECC 4.6 system. Now we are trying to connect it to ECC system through ITS. We are unable to find the GUI location from the trasaction SICF like we do in other versions of ECC.

Can anyone throw some light on how can we get the ITS related settings in ECC 4.6?

Not sure if SAP GUI for HTML can be configured for ECC 4.6 as it is available in ECC 6.0(NW Release).

No the configuration is different. You cannot activate and configure the ITS service parameters in transaction SICF in R/3 4.6 like in ECC 6.0. One must use the standalone ITS 6.20 server for this and do the configuration in the *.srvc files for each service. Publishing is still required - but have to use the IACOR to publish from the R/3 4.6 in SE80 to the standalone ITS 6.20 server.

You need to use the Standalone ITS 6.20 server in this scenario if connnecting to R/3 / WAS 4.6C
