Planning initialization

HI

is it possible to reinitialize palnning area while the user are working in the planning book.

we need to add one more month. so we dont want down the PA, just we want to reinitialize it.

Thanks for your valuable answer. So Reinitialization of planning area is not possible while the users locked the planning book.

Anitha,

Its not possible to reinitialize the PA if the user is logged into the system. Before initializing the data, system will try to lock the LC. The user need to be out of the system. You can use Report : /SAPAPO/TS_PAREA_INITIALIZE to initialize the PA.

No,you can not initialize the planning area if any user locks this planning area from planning book.System displays error:

'planning area locked' when you try to initialize the planning area in this case.
