ICMADM,WEBADM password expire after restart of sap webdisp.

Hi Srikishan,

We have recreate ( deleted and created again) the user also and it completed successfully without any error. But when we try to login on admin page, it do not accept the password.

What we do every time after restart of web disp is , we copy the icmauth.txt from other server to present server and restart the disp again.

are we doing smthing wrong or we need to adopt some other process.

Just to confirm:

You are using below method for settings the password:

Also is the icmauth.txt file getting generated at the default location:

Also check the permissions of the icmauth.txt file.

Hi Shrikishan,

Files are getting generated at default location and we are using the standard process for creating the user.we changed the permission of icmauth.txt file to 777 also. But mean while the default permission 644 is working fine on other server.
